We proudly present: Wilson Liao
Dr. Wilson Liao is Professor and Associate Vice Chair of Research in Dermatology and Director of the Psoriasis Center at the University of California San Francisco. He is a practising dermatologist with expertise in biologic therapy and phototherapy and a human geneticist who has contributed to the identification of over 30 psoriasis susceptibility genes.
Dr. Liao has published over 50 genetic, epigenetic, transcriptomic, proteomic, and microbiome studies in psoriasis. He currently serves as a councilor for the International Psoriasis Council and Co-Chair of the Group for Research and Assessment of Psoriasis and Psoriatic Arthritis Research Committee. He is a member of the National Psoriasis Foundation Scientific Advisory Committee and Medical Board. Dr. Liao is the Co-Principal Investigator of the NIH Accelerating Medicines Program in Psoriatic Disease, which hopes to identify novel biomarkers of psoriatic disease flare and remission.
